Dear Subsim Captains,

I have a big problem with Open Horizon 2....

I am Stuck at Skapa Flow.... I sank multiple Ships already with multiple Attempts and followed always the Infiltration Route of Prien... and still I can not end the mission as the objective Trigger is always not completed.

Am I missing something? what must I do to complete the Mission?

After sinking 2 troop carriers with huge BRT and 2 Renown and a Nelson and several Destroyers I still cant end it =(

Hi VS
If you are referring to the tonnage bar and campaign icons not completing your objectives then this will be a problem as both of these components are broken in the game.
I would suggest using one of the mega mods where these components have been removed and replaced by the campaign dates and patrol objectives.

Hi VS
Yes the mega mods use OHII.
The mega mods use a large number of mods either combined together or show individually.

I just noticed these lines in the Campaign.cfg while doing the South Western Approaches:

[Campaign.CampObj.MacroObj 3.PersObj 1.Amount]
IsTonnage=true
Tonnage=500000
NumOfShips=0

Ehm.... is it actually possible to edit campaign files while you are playing the campaign or is that prone to CTD's, Campaign Breakers or other weird stuff? Because half a million tons of shipping in five months seems to be a bit.... odd

Hi Holothurin
The part of the file that shows 'Amount' relates to the amount of tonnage you need to fill the tonnage bar which then activates the campaign icon.
You will notice also that there is CrtAmount which shows the number of ships that you have to sink to fill the tonnage bar which then activates the campaign icon.
One of these is always active depending on the mission objective.
Raising or lowering the tonnage would have to be done on your latest manual game save.
You would also need to look at the last auto game save as well?
If it does not work out just put the correct data back in.
I have no experience whether this works or not and it is not something I have ever seen that has come up on Subsim before.
The mega mods have the tonnage bar and campaign icons removed so the 'Amount' and CrtAmount' data is not relevant.

Those are the campaign files from OHII v2.5 and I was kind of surprised to see such a massive amount of BRT expected. Stock version is around 100.000 as far as I remember and even that has been tuned down by other mods.
Might be just a typo by the editor/modder and should probably be about 50.000 tons then.
I just don't want to start all over again, that's why I'd like to edit the campaign files while the thing is underway

Hi Holothurin

This objective in v2.4 was 80,000
The update from 2.4 to 2.5 was focused on removing the feeling of chasing tonnage target. Instead, all mission were changed to patrol area.

This one is the last one of TotalGermay and in truth is not meant to be passed. This was the first test of campaign ending by date (before the issues with Ubi and no tonnage recorded drama)
That objective is open for 5 or 6 months and can cover 5 to 10 patrols (depending on dock time settings), so I did not want users finishing this one too soon.
there are some rich pickings in this area - enjoy your patrols

Editing file probably won't cause any issues as the change will not take effect unless you restart your career.

You can edit your save files to :-
is objective complete=pass

or just re-dock a few time to pass time and allow time to end TotalGermany (CoastalWaters)

When you get to the wolfpack missions later in the war, you will again notice very high tonnage setting.
Here your fellow (AI) uboat kills will count towards your own totals and so is set high by design

Ahh, thanks for the answers.

I just ran into (probably) SL 16 and was able to pump my tonnage up to 100.000. Now if refitting in Ferrol ( isn't that actually Cedeira in RL on the map? ) also works I might go for the CTD-risky approach and don't return to WHV until Weserübung

Edit: Doesn't. Well, back through the Channel then.

So I have a problem: I installed the minimal mods , as far as I know, because he only links to this whole subsim site.

I got OH2 2.5, got that NewUI, and TDW subnet detect. I started the game and it worked fine. Well I only played a bit, but I noticed the tonnage bars don't fill up. So I also got that tonnage bar mod from sober's thread. Also the no iron crosses.

But after that the game looks like this.

Now my problem is...I see 3 different folders in that mod pack with "no stupid tonnage" and 2 folders for "no iron crosses". No one tells me what to pick to make it work. So I tried everything right now, every combination. It all looks the same as the screenshots there.
When I don't use these 2 mods, it works fine, but the tonnage wont fill up.

So what do I do to have a working game?
