Default Revell uboat model

Hi guys,

I am thinking of buying revell's uboat 1/72 model and I believe its just been re-released. Is this the new one?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Revell-05015...3874235&sr=8-1

I have seen it advertised as wolfpack version and atlantic version, so fairly sure this is the new one as the kit number matches but just want to check.

Thanks,

Chris

Can't say if its the new one but it looks good. Plenty of detail, it seems. It's just too bad Tamiya doesn't make one of those. Once you did a Tamiya model, everything else feels inferior.

I'm not sure of the models age either but I know the earlier versions at least were excellent models.

Warning: If you buy this model you are in danger of losing everything you own. An attempt to build it properly can lead to purchasing mountains of 'peripherals' such as etched-brass detail parts and pewter crew figures, and my steal months or even years of your life, leading to the loss of loved ones, jobs and possibly even starving due to neglecting to eat. On the other hand your self-esteem can be raised immensely by doing it right.

This thread will illustrate some of the possibilities.

Is there a "new" version? I don't know, but as has been said the original is well worth the money, and is a spectacular model right out of the box.

Still remember the Gato Class Dan bought for Neal on his birthday...the day we all left Neals to go to our homes?

I wonder if he ever finished it because it would look good alongside the smaller version he had in his man cave

It's a giant uboat model. It's worth it.
