Yes...I see the difference which is so obvious. Why it escaped my attention i cannot say. I have uploaded a new Sensors_sub_US.dat file with the correct
id construction. Perhaps this will solve the problem..i hope.

I shall keep an eye out for any word of this being corrected, as I would love to see its inclusion as a mod to further enhance FotRS.

Ahoy M.M.
I would never take anyone's constructive criticism as anything else than that and appreciate that my small contribution would be a welcome addition to any future FOTRSU update. Hopefully whatever the cause of the problem is, it can be quickly resolved.

Ahoy, Canonicus...

No worries , is just that I know that text communication can be.. misconstrued (not that misunderstandings can't occur even in actually talking to another.. it can & does happen..), & for that reason is why I added that. I for 1, never want it being though of as anything I say, to be thought of as disparaging.

Will see of grabbing the new download & testing it out, as soon as I am able to.

Here's to the issue being resolved.. & thanks again, for your hard work & effort.

M. M.

Sure... I'm at your pleasure to communicate anytime you wish.
I'm hoping that those who have experienced problems when using this mod will have relief with the corrected Sensor_Sub_US.dat file which i think is in proper order now. ...and to those who are not having problems...hope you are enjoying the little splash made by your scopes.

It should be a unique ID number though.

I just finished testing with the new FOTRSU update preview. Glad to say that all went well and the splash mod works just fine.
Latest file has been uploaded and is fully compatible with 1.46 and the yet unnamed update (I think they were thinking about 1.6...something)

Ahoy, Canonicus...

Would think that it should be doable...

Only differences are that instead of the U.S. Fleet boats (S class, included here.. ) it would be dealing with the Kriegsmarine Uboats, instead. The same methods would apply to looking at the bones & such, of them, just as you would with the U. S.'s subs... same X, Y, Z factors... as I understand it... thinking in 3 dimensional terms here.

Step 1 would be getting the wake effects on level with water level the up/down axis, the Y axis...) to the scope... after that, making sure it's centered between the port/starboard axis (X axis...) & the finally the bow/stern axis (Z axis..).

Would love to see this applied to the Uboats, as well.. but.. that's just a respectful request... as I believe it could be doable.
