I find it hard to understand the link between voice commands and teleport. This is not Star Trek nor an older SH version where we had no choice than teleport to stations. VC is intented for high realism and immersion. I respect everyone's choice to play the game, but I find it weird... is like playing captain Kirk.. "port me up Scott".

I agree. I've never used the teleport option.

I try to keep things as real as I can.

But not everyone wants to play SH5 as a Hardcore Sim.

off topic: btw i wish that you rework all the campaigns to make an campaign mod like you did for the last one (awsome job)... in fact i understand is dificult but i wish that some people from here make like a team and build this campaign mod... i know it is a very time consuming job

I find the movement of the Captain slow and lumbering and time is of the essence so I tend to teleport from outside to inside typically. But once inside I usually walk to stations.

I'm glad the mod is further developed, and am sorry I am unable to contribute further atm. I had some cool stuff in the pipeline, perhaps later...

Hello,

Stoianm found an other bug, thx!!

"Set_Speed" is working again!

Please use Speech Recognition.py from new upload or reinstall if you haven't altered any files!

MiTon & skwasjer tnx a lot for this amazing work.

this mod changes the whole game from simulation to reality lol. i have just ended my first patrol with this mod and i cant find words to describe how amazing to control sub with talking.

for non-english windows 7 home premium users like me i want to remind you to follow this to change your operating language.

i have a little request if its possible. can we have speech " los " to fire torpedo as well like in Das Boot.

As for "los" as command, that shouldn't be the problem, but I've got to find out if "los" is recognized by the english Recognition Engine.

But there could be problems with commands that contain just one word, they can be easily misunderstod by the engine and this case will fire a tropedo? Not the best thing to happen accidentialy!

Will keept it in mind for the next release, maybe this week.

Help with icon for SpeechRecognition UI

Hi,

For the next release I want to make a little GUI to control some of the Speech Recognitions behaviour. But since my Photoshop skills are somewhere near zero, I could use some help with the icon! And maybe a skilled UI designer .



I've got two free cliparts that could be used:

Here the features of the GUI (I will be able to control this via speech too):
- big button with the icon!
toggle Speech Recognition on/off (won't execute orders except some specials like toggle Speech Recognition on)
- small button below:
show/hide SpeechRecSettings

Don't be afraid, it'll be translated by release




- save confidence level ( confidence level speichern ):
not working yet, but I'd like to save the conf level for next startup, so you guys won't have to edit the .py file

- confidence level:
here you can chose your confidence level.
- the small button on the right the will restart SpeechRec with new confidence level:
will restart SpeechRec Engine with previously chosen confidence level ( great when you want to test ingame!!)
your game will freeze for a few seconds, depending on your hardware. But don't be affraid (Only if you edited your files before ).
