My dad let me watch it on VHS when I was in grade school probably not the best movie for a kid but I liked it that was a long time ago 85 maybe 86.Mad Max is still my favorite it just has a gritter feel than the others.

It's funny how we react differently to things. I hated Mad Max, and if I had known Road Warrior was a sequel I never would have seen it, which would have been a bad thing. I think RW stands far above the others.
Oh, and just so you know, I own all three and watch them all from time to time.

I understand that they are making another Mad Max flick without Mel Gibson of course. There is potential to make a good movie now if they do or not is the question. The good news is that George Miller is the director and he directed the first three.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1392190/ I like The Road Warrior a lot as well I just enjoy Mad Max a little more part of that is probably nostalgia for a week or so after seeing Mad Max as kid I was afraid that I'd hear that motorcycle gang coming. We really should start a thread about Mad Max. |
