they decided to omit it from their 2011 financial outlook.

I don't know much about the financial side of things with game companies but i would imagine that once figures have been released for a particular quarter, or indeed a year, a company wouldn't 'edit' or 'redo' the budget/forecast?

Big update in the Land of Diablo 3, with the announcement made that a Diablo 3 Media Event will be held on Wed. July 27th.
Amongst other things, the event will showcase the World's first look at the Beta, incl some game time.
Also some unannounced D3 news and BattleNet news.
The wait for this game is slowly but surely coming to an end.
The rumour has always been that once the Beta goes live, 6 months from the live date the game will launch.
And they are announcing Beta news at the event.

I've been on the list for some time, still waiting for that magical email to arrive. Disappointed that the Necromancer isn't in D3, that was my favorite character in D2. We'll see how the Witchdoctor pans out.....

Re the Necromancer, they may (may being the operative word) bring him in with an expansion. Who knows what Blizz has in store.
Certainly a lot will be released to the media when beta goes live.

Are there any members here at SUBSIM that are either in Australia or New Zealand that are pre-ordering Diablo 3?
Or can give me info on where i can get pre-orders for this game for?
Reputable sellers with good history only please, also seller you personally have dealt with and have good history with.
I am looking at pre-ordering a CE Diablo 3 with Asia Pacific region for Battle.net online.
Diablo 3 will have region encoded into disc and depending on where you buy it from (region), that is what region you will play in.
Unless you DDL and play on US server etc.
Which i don't want to do.

They can be trusted if that's what your asking, Ive been buying games of mighty ape for about 15 odd years. Mightyape (originally named Gameplanet) I would not recommend them to you if I had an ounce of doubt about them. Only thing you might not be use to is their prices they are quite dear compared to other retailers here in NZ but they make up for it in the excellent support & quick deliveries

At the time of this post they are down for maintenance from 4am to 6am so check back with them in a few hours if you decide to register with them.

EDIT: Just checked in with them, dam, they are expensive, well for the title that i'm looking at anyway, Diablo 3 pre-order $109.99, as opposed to BestBuy's $59.99.

$99.95 to $112 are normal prices here for new releases thats why I bitch if the game turns out to be a dud.

You could try http://www.Firstgames.co.nz their games are sometimes cheaper than MA, Ive brought of them a few times.

Yea just checked in over at Firstgames, no diablo 3 in their data base, so they aren't taking pre-orders. Yet.
Have you heard much about bestbuy?
