Yeah but:

UPDATE: House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) defended the move, saying Republicans opposed the measure because it contained bailout money and other tax increases.
So was it really a tax cut bill or a tax increase bill? We'll see what the American voter thinks come November.

Or that update might not have been there when you read it...

Another example of a BS bill. Call it a tax cut bill, but they throw in pork, etc.

Course the dems have called welfare payments "tax cuts." Cut taxes on people already paying zero taxes so they pay negative taxes. That's a "tax cut."

Meanwhile, tax breaks for the "rich"—the only people that actually pay enough taxes to matter—that's "bad."

They need to balance the damn budget by cutting spending. On entitlements.

You Democrats sure are sounding more and more desperate to deflect public attention from your upcoming November train wreck.

May I quote you the next time you make a generalization to make your point?

This bill will extend the 90% provision and increase max loan size.

Stop being so partisan and look at things more pragmatically.

Well said! (Not implying that I endorse the bill or anything)

Shouldn't a generalization involve something that is generally true?

In which case, one Republican voting for something is does not mean that Republicans in general are voting for it.

Quote this: Calling a tax hike bill a tax cut bill didn't fool the republicans and it's not going to fool the voters.

Now if the ruling party were to put real small business tax break bill up for a vote i'd bet the gop would vote for it.

Yall enjoy your talking points now.
Ya so Stewart just made up how their talking points are almost to the word (Or in the minority leaders case EXACTLY the word AND speed of reading) of their old game?

Republicans confirming they want to go back to Bush era policies. If that isnt a dream come true for dems needing campaign material I dont know what is!

I'm not exactly sure how the government lending money it doesn't have (borrow money to lend it?) is fiscally responsible.

Tax cuts for business? A good idea.

Spending money out of pocket (via "community" banks (you know, the kind that are NOT "too big to fail")) is entirely different, particularly in the current climate.

Note that "community" gets used by the current admin in the US pretty much the same way that "people's" gets used in places like the PRC or the CCCP (when it existed). LOL.

Umm, no, that was just the effect that you're focused on. The only one engaged in spin here is you.
