I don't think that this is going to be the patch we all wanted. I just had a quick go on the game and without all the great mods I had installed the game is very average.

Yea, same here. Sucks most of the time Steam is as fast as anyone for the patches. In cases like this is depends on the developers and for obvious reasons I doubt supporting Steam users is at the top of the priority list.

To add: I even went to the game updater folder and ran it. Said there was a patch and when told to install said it couldn't find Silent Hunter V installed.

Absolutely no discussion of cracks or DRM circumventing techniques allowed on the forum. Take it elsewhere. Regardless of how you (or I) feel about it, Neal has laid down one specific rule: Don't discuss anything related to circumventing the DRM. It's as simple as that.

As rules go, this one's not all that onerous. Let's all get along.

That discussion above was actually rather funny... Anyway. How will the patch be released for us that actually bought the game via steam? No Steam patch yet... I feel quite sad if the SKIDROW and RELOADED users get the patch berfore me...

from other threads and forums...looks like the patch is a complete joke. things worse off than before. sorry guys...gave this game a chance...i think its gonna take its last torpedo and sink pretty soon. might have to go back to sh3/4 if this patch isn't taking care of what was promised after all that wait.

actually those with skidrow and razor1911 ppl are very stupid since they give UBi the grun light to DRM the new releases.. cracked or not, the game devs deserve their respect.. even if the game is flawed.

I do think you understand that I wasn't supporting piracy AT AL. I buy my games. I just thought his comment was so not fit in here. And that was the funny part, not the piracy thingi. Salute!
