Yeah, first patrols around England and aircraft constantly overhead and constantly ignore me. I hope some one can mod aircraft so they become a threat as they were in SH3...

I kind of like there being no planes.

There better in Single Missions

If someone wants to mod the planes to be a threat then PLEASE mod them to fly moreso during the day then at night....

I spend daylight on the surface and submerge in the darkness off the British Isles.

if you check the nav map, it'll show that bombers and other anti-shipping aircraft are stationed near the gibraltar strait.

later on in the campaign will anti-shipping aircraft populate the airfields around england.
Cool, the first spotting I went running and dived as soon as I could (old reaction from SH4) but the next time I didn't panic.

They do radio your position though. Even if the OP is right which he is.. Uboats had not many problems with aircraft first years of the war.

But I have had many times a DD come strolling around a few hours after the planes fly by a few times. I was long gone by then but I did get the sonar pings.

As far as now, after three patrols (december 1939 right now) I am not experiencing any problem regarding aircrafts.

In SH4 I hated them 'cause they constantly attacked and the first time I saw a Hurricane, I swiftly crashed dive to avoid bullets.... reality is that they do not attack for now.

I don't like them to fly over me so much though... so I constantly get at periscope depth just to avoid them see where I'm going.
