Open it into S3D, go to the Wpn Cannon entry, and there you will find the ammo storage values for each type of shell.

Thanks, but I tried this and it didn't work.

I edited the files, saved, loaded the game - and still the original ammo count. Am I missing something?

What sub gun are you trying to change? I think the file pictured is for the German 105mm.
