Could you please tell me what file you are referring to, to alter the deck gun ammo loadout?
I am a fan of the deck gun to finish off a merchant and save torpedo's. If I find an unarmed merchant I use the deck gun exclusively I know I can resupply but the german campaign is so short and diverting to resupply wastes valuable campaign time. |

You need to edit SH4/Data/Library/GerSubParts/Deck_Gun_GE105mm.sim. Open it into S3D, go to the Wpn Cannon entry, and there you will find the ammo storage values for each type of shell. ![]() Get S3D here http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=119571 Please back up your file before editing ![]() |

I edited the files, saved, loaded the game - and still the original ammo count. Am I missing something? |

![]() What sub gun are you trying to change? I think the file pictured is for the German 105mm. |
