I just made a observation that when I attack merchant ships in calm waters I use magnetic torpedoes, since they cause the most damage.
However, over and over again I cannot breack the ships back even though my shot is right on the "money" meaning right under the tower. I attacked at least a dozen ships that way but with GWX 2.0 I never downed a ship with 1 shot. I always have to send in another "fish" to finish the merchant. Granted I play "realistic" sinking and stuff, but shouldnt I have seen a ship break in half by now?? In stock SH3 1.4b patch, I "loved" seeing a ship breaking in half with one well placed magnetic torpedo. Any suggestions?? |
