If you don't make it you need a TD to win. If you DO make it you are only behind by 3.....and a field goal can then tie the game for you.

Just kicking the extra point in that situation accomplishes nothing because you still trail by 4, so you still need a TD to win.

True

If I was a coach and my team was 4 point behind ,after our touchdown and only a few minutes remain of the last quarter...why not, my team have nothing to loose.

I disagree. Kick the extra point and pull to within 3. A field goal then ties the score. A field goal is MUCH easier to get than a TD.
If you don't get the 2 point (likely) you would need a TD or you lose.

Love the Texans! Poor Ben limped off the field.

Go Ravens! It was a strange game last night for the Ravens and Jets.

So any Eagles fans still feel like talking that dream team mess?
The real USA basketball dream team blew people out by 60 points. But the Philly version loses to the Giants and the 49ers.

The Lions is a great story for a city who truly needs it. You got my Niners on the Oct 16TH in a battle of the has beens reaching for the top tier.

Good luck! To both sides.

PS: I hate Dallas Cowboys, good job.

Barry Sanders quit a few yards shy, letting Emmit Smith break Paytons record. Detroit was shortchanged when he did that. Barry did it with a bad offensive line, where Emmit had all 300 pounders..Boooooo!

PF - "Points for" - how many points the team has scored in total across all games
PA - "Points against" - how many points the teams opponents have scored against them, in total across all games
Net Pts - Simply the difference between the above two
Road - The team's record while playing games on the road, away from their home stadium
conf - The team's record while playing games against other teams in their conference
Non-conf - The team's record while playing games against other teams NOT in their conference
Streak - How many games they've won or lost in a row
Last 5 - Their record over the past 5 games

It's been to long...

Anyway some random thoughts, nice to see the Vikes where they are
at , sorry McBee....

Philly has none of this:

Buffalo is not who we thought they were, they look for real, despite last week's debacle.

If Stafford can stay healthy the Lions will do well, Johnson is a monster.

The Ravens continue to impress ( plug for you AVG ), just when you think they are getting to old...

Pittsburgh on the other hand does look old.

Romo is well, Romo.

The Texans may actually avoid a mid-late season collapse this year, they finally have a defense.

New England needs to find a defense, or some resemblance of it. Though the same could be said for many teams this year.

Oh yeah, how bout them Packers
