I thought I was doing great in a similar situation, until I got this flood (word chosen carefully) of damage reports and realized that I was paying too much attention to the circling destroyers and not enough to the C3 that just ran me over. Doh.

When evading DDs, it's not advisable to remain at the periscope depth.
