The ulltimate reason for the oposing political views in America seems to be increasingly that people in one party can' stand/cope with the other party member' opinion, and such any opinion expressed by one side is just contradicted by the other independently of being a right ou left type of proposal... though even this arcaic notion cant' be entirely looked upon for a "political frame"... for instance the right wing arty on the netherlands wich advocates euthanasia,welfare state policies such as taxpayer-paid daycare for working people, and permissive cannabis policy (or so the wikipedia says...
