[quote=GoldenRivet]i might be wrong here... but if memory serves me...

blue sinking symbol = friendly ship sunk
red sinking symbol = enemy ship sunk
green sinking symbol = neutral ship sunk
grey sinking symbol = a ship has sunk but the cause of its sinking is unknown or was caused by weather.

[quote]

Many times i sunk a ship, got credited for it, but do not have visual contact of the sinking. sometimes a grey symbol appears, others no symbol at all.

They fly back to base, drink French wine, eat, and sleep in a nice warm bed. They leave me in my damp, cold, and fungus infested Iron coffin, eating molding bread, and fighting off the Tin cans they stirred up. Puts
