So that settles it - the 747 Cargo is considerably bigger!

"Bigger" is a bit messy. The Boeing is wider in fuselage, whereas the A380 is longer, wider in wingspan, and has a MTOW of 1.2 million pounds compared to the Boeings 800,000.

Not talking about loading or wingspan. I'm talking about size. The A380 on have 4 feet in length on this thing - something you probably couldn't see if they were sitting side by side. Fuselage however is where I measure the size of an airplane.

It kind of goes like this - if you put a C-5 next to the giant Russian AN, you aren't measuring wingspan! The are very close. You are measuring the footprint of the fuelage.

The 747 has a ton more area internally and is a much bigger plane. And I'm not talking something not noticeable. I'm talking if you put this 747 next to an A380, it would dwarf the A380!

Well they both impress me...regardless of the extra number of beer crates one might be able to carry over the other.

Want bigger
try this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LZ_129_Hindenburg
refering to it as a flying object constructed by humans not as an airship
and comparing the size not the payload.
