Welcome, and all i can really tell is is what I have compared so far. 1. Both are similar. 2. DW has better graphics. 3. DW has a more difficult mission editor (IMO). 4. You can play surface and air platforms in DW and not SC. I have found both games and played them stock and enjoyed them, so do not listen to anyone who says otherwise. The mods for SC do enhance the game a lot especially if you want to drive other subs. I have not modded out DW yet because I have my hands full with learning SC. I would recommend the combat pack that has all three games in it. it is a great value and then you can see which you like the best.
