Thanks dude. Ya I'm just getting in all the news from online and tv now. Alot of destruction. Still 43,000 people without power and Hydro Quebec still has over 500 job fixes to do.

Good news so far no one died as far as I know. I read a story on CTV.ca that 2 window washers guys were washing at 30 stories when the blazing storm hit. help wasn't comming because they were soo backuped with emergencies everywhere. They managed to break the glass and entered the building.

Some more youtube shots,

It was weird because that tuesday morning it was super hot and sunny. I drove my daughter to my parents for the week. Dropped her off and headed back home. In Laval I could see south of montreal the black huge clouds and alot of lightning flashes in the distance. After the tunnel I was in it. But the first cloud passed and left some damage.

5 min after I was home then the second uber cloud hit and all hell broke loose. 18 wheeler truck nearly was blown of the champlain bridge. My neighbour back yard end up on the front street. His BBq and patio was destroyed. Hail the size of base ball damage other guys car I know on his way back from the store.

Its something from the movies. Almost surreal.

But the nights were nice well asside from all the sirens and some looters. My wife an I were happy that our daughter was safe.

I'm in central NY and we got the edge of the storm system. It was still pretty powerful even though the main storms were a hundred+ miles from us. The river rose over 2 feet overnight and there were plenty of downed trees limbs and some power lines down. Our electricity was knocked out for about 30 minutes.

It sure was a bad boy storm. That baby was born over Montreal. It was fast. One minute sunny and next uber storm.
