Well I don't know about hundreds of threads. I ran a few searches and found one. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ht=differences. It did turn up on the first search though, so despite oneshot's exaggeration, his point is still correct. It is always better to post in an existing thread than to start a new one.

I might have been exagerating but I stand by what I said ... this topic has been discussed both in its own threads and as part of other topics more then once (more like 10+ times) and as ML has found out rather quickly and effortless (I believe) is that those thread(s) are easy to find given that one is willing to use the search function (which btw. every halfway capable forum has).
@ML : Nice new sig ![]() |

I think sunstar should be more interested in both modded game versions because stock ones are idiotic and unplayable in many respects.
So more experienced users are encouraged to write some comparisons about SCXII versus LWAMI mods! |

No offense, I just would appreciate it, if we don't invest energy about comparisons but try to improve the sim.
There can be so much improved in terms of creating new (dynamic) missions, database (still tons of errors, missing platforms) and improving/creating new platform doctrines.

When a newcomer comes to the board we should all do our best to retain the "fresh blood" in the community....lest we all die lonely

I have read many of the threads comparing SC and DW etc... And it is like sifting through a rat infested Swiss Cheese factory. You get a lot IMO's but very little stats. Which is what most people are looking for, especially when the choice comes being able to play one and invest time and a little money into these great games. I have both games and want to learn by experience the difference between the two, but having said that, I find very little info here or anywhere with regards to the mission editor. It gets a bit frustrating because the manual has little or nothing, so who do we need to get help from? Hopefully this community. And it is a little disturbing that "newbies" (self included) get the same old pat answer, "Check the threads or do a search". I invite you all to do a search on "Mission editor" and you get a lot of junk from SH3 and4 and other games but not this one in particular, so it is useless. If I knew what I need to know and someday will regarding how to use the mission editors to their fullest I will post such details for all to learn, but for now it seems as though it will be trial and error because either no one here knows or wants to post such a thread that will help people enjoy this game to it's fullest.
