Hi,
Off on a patrol in early 1940, spot a destroyer at 10000 yds in poor visibilty. He does not alter towards but I go to P.D. anyway. Hardly am I at periscope depth than he is pinging me and I get hunted to destruction. The "asdic" of those days was notoriously inefficient, with a maximum detection range of 2000-2500 yards, and most attacks were unsuccessful, so is it possible to more accurately simulate this? I'm all for realism and I love GWX but give me a break. RR |

Also you can open the AI_Sensors.dat with S3D & adjust the type of sensors you want, backup first though.
