no. its not just you.
duck down and start listening on your hydro's. you are in a busy area, you'll have to be patient something will come along. i was in that spot 'not so long ago.' i cruised towards Gib not getting anything when all of a sudden out of the rain came trouble - two destroyers. i was lucky i was travelling slow and got down out of the way. they found me later though, when my patience ran out!!  then....
