You have to to get your state pension why not with a private one. Can't get something for nothing and given that the workers at Grangemouth are earning way over the national average I think they are hypocrites. Wish I was earning between £45 - 60,000 a year.
If they're earning up to 60k per year, do they need a pension ?

The answer being obviously yes.....anything above the state pension (and there are millions out there who have no choice but to survive on what crumbs the Government hands out) then they should contribute towards.

I suspect the employer will also be making a contribution
