Well im sure they feel that they cant trust us 100%. One excuse for winter war was that Finland was too near Leningrad. With modern weapons, St.Petersburg is closer that it was then, so is Northern Fleet and numerous other strategic targets. They have said openly relations would get worse if Finland joined NATO. The Finnish defence doctrine is also changed from passive to active. "Potential acquisition of the deep penetration version, based on the successor to EADS's Barracuda unmanned reconnaissance air vehicle demonstrator, is also under consideration, says defence minister Dr Seppo Kääriäinen. Finland has been at the centre of Russian/western surviellance for decades. Although I think the reds would think twice after the ownage they were given during the war. Dowly would win the war singlehandedly in his 109 anyway lol.
