AN 14 and any of the other grids to the north... Anything between the Shetlands and the Northern tip of Brittan... lots of lone merchant tonnage for those willing to spend the torps, or brave/lucky enough to use the deck gun

1943-45: 100km south of Aden in the Gulf of Aden. Every few days there's a large convoy going ENE with a good selection of large ships in it. They are quite well protected (6-8 destroyers) but once the protection is gone it's a turkey shoot!
