i don't like firing in salvo. they 2nd torp has a high chance of pre-mature explosion... i alerted a CVE because of this. i don't understand why this happened because i set the detonation to impact so there shlnt be any pre-mature...

you should have seen Mr.chris and Me duking it out on the surface last saturday night. we had a blast at a couple of GWX 2.0 mp games

especially the last Mission we played

As Brag mentions the AoB is paramount to 1 hit sinking a ship as a 90 degree shot isn't optimal. The 45 degree shot is optimal as it give the torpedo the longest time possible under the keel of the ship to detonate. I've managed to do that to the Hood once when it was parked in Gibraltor and was able to move around to get the perfect shot off.

During rough weather you're more likely to get (ime) a one shot kill if you can successfully get the eel to go under the keel. With the rough seas helping to increase the flood rate ships can go down fast or just plain get keelbusted. But to try and use a pure magnetic attack for a convoy during rough seas isn't a very prudent tactic with the amount of misses you'll get caused by the wave height.
