Default Leaky Roofs...

This is probably really old but I thought that I'd bring up as I can't seem to find any info about it. Did anyone ever find a fix to keep the rain out of the U-boat bunkers? Last night I returned to Kiel in heavy fog & the rain was just pouring down. My watch crew was looking forward to getting out of the rain but, unfortunately, they were SOL. Not only was it coming down in buckets outside but inside the pen as well. I'm just glad that my roof doesn't leak like that.

That's not rain but BDU showers to clean your crew before they step ashore. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Did you know when you are in the u-boat pen and there is an airstrike and they drop o bomb on the bunker i just go,s straight through. The pens serve no other purpose then eyecandy i guess.

During, and before, WWII,
there was no such thing as 'The Cleaner Air Act' add nausium.
Therefore, all rain was Acid Rain by todays standards.
SH3 was modeled with this 'Acid Rain' to maintain Historical accuracy.

Actually, there are no zones assigned to harbors.
No zones means they are Ghost like.
Aircraft can also shoot you while in a bunker.

So the question remaines.
WTF good are the Bunkers?

Without stateing references, or where I got them.

When every version of SH is/was done, CPU cycles were considered.

To zone EVERY harbor, even just the Bunkers?
Would eat cycle time for a very limited effect.

In Stock SH3 the Bunkers are nearly a non-issue.

Once we start scripting Air Raids?

Now WE have disrupted design specs.

Can it be corrected to match what we have done?
Yes.

But the Download and time to do it?
Not me.
It's a small quirk that does not warrent the work involved.

So you get rained on. Big deal.
Air Raid comes in?
Get out and DIVE!!
Hell, the Sirens start in 2.0 before you get hit anyway!!!

When we get the SDK, then we'll get this thing fixed, and all other problems too.

Dont need the SDK to fix
Tis time\energy and CPU impact that stops it being done
