reinstall SH4 in german will not change the voice. only the menu.txt changes to german language

for german voices we've got a german language patch.
dont know but if i remenber well somebody criticized that the voicesfiles are out of sh3

the patch can found here ( Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific - Deutscher Sprachpatch | 161,0 MB)

installorder is:
- stock game
- languagepatch
- other patches 1.4 or 1.5(whatever)

but i dont know if it works anymore, wanted to hear the crew to speak english on amarican subs and befor buy the addon i want to hear some good response

Not sure if this also affects the US Campaign, since he didn't mention anything about that in his release notes. To be safe, make this the final mod in your mod list. It can easily be removed before starting a US career.

So many types that are much more important to the Pacific war, like say, Japanese submarines, and what do we get?

I purchased SH4 because I was bored to tears with the Atlantic and U-Boats, and wanted a good Pacific sim, UBI fails again.

This would be easy to grab German voices from SH3 and put them in Uboat addon:hmm: Might have to make some slight changes for them to work but this shouldn't be a problem.

Yea i hear ya, but it is still cool to command the Uboats Im looking forward to it.

Well, I'm not gonna touch it for at least a year. Maybe the bugs will be worked out by then, and I can find it in the bargain bin for not much money.

And hopefully by then someone will have made playable IJN submarines.
