GWX is load intensive - meaning it has to load an awful lot of stuff into it to get it all to run. Having said that...

Put as much memory in the machine as it will take. At LEAST 2 Gig worth if not more.
Make sure all of your unnecessary processes are shut down.
Make sure that your hard drive is defragmented.
Load as few a mods as you can.

A more 'drastic approach' would be to look at the speed of your hard drive. If you have the money, it might pay to upgrade it to a faster one - perhaps even with a SATA interface.

Neal, I have all of the above and do all of the above so that doesn't help. What about this merged campaign some people are talking about. How do you disable that ?
