Pls help to sink Yamato..

I found Yamato in a harbor (Hiroshima, I think) during a photo recon patrol. Had about 8 torps left, between fore and aft, and fired them all and hightailed it out of the area.

She went down. Except the water was so shallow she simply rested on the bottom, with a slight list to one side. No fire or explosions, and I gave no thought to trying the deck gun to finish her off. I managed to get back to base with absolutely no recognition of my contribution to the war effort. <sigh>

I wonder... if it had blown up ... would I get credit if it goes down in 50 ft of water?
