The Roll and pitch/sub reflection mod. Delete from it, everything except the DAT files, and you'll have it all. All the stuff the other files do, have been incorporated into TM.
Thanks Duci, I'll do that now and reinstall it

So there is one main Data folder and 2 sub folders, Objects and Submarines. All the files in Objects are DAT files so leave them, and in each Submarine File there are CFG DAT SIM and VAL files, delete all the files that are not DAT and I should be right to go?:hmm:

Well, in the abscence of Duci's guiding hand to confirm, I did the above and everything seems to be running just fine.

I was looking at deleting everything except the .dat files in the ROWSubReflections file as you suggested. I had tried to open it with both wordpad and note pad, and all I see is jibberish. What program do you use to open .rar files such as this to make modifications. thanks

I believe Duc incorporated this into the new Trigger installation

Here is my installation from what it is worth.

SILENT SERVICE 1.2c GRAPHICS MOD
1_TMaru_Trigger_Maru_1.7.6
2_TMaru_Sound
3_TMaru_GFX-ROW_Version_5
TMARU_Stock_Gramaphone
ROW Sound Effects vs_8
Natural Sinking Mechanics 3.3 Classic
ROW NEW SeaFoam from Jaketoox
RSRDC_P2_TM_v221

Now from what I can tell all the other ROW modlets that you do not see above are incorporated into TM 1.7.6 so there is no need to install them. I checked this with a nifty little program called ExamDiff Pro which allows you to view differences in directories and files side by side. I ran a scan between TM 1.7.6 and all the ROW modlets and the seafoam mod was the only one that wasnt incorporated into TM 1.7.6.

But I am known to be wrong on occasion. Is the above true Ducimus?

NOTE: I did notice that the TLowRes folder of ROW Textures without Sun Halo camera flair vs_5 was not included in TM 1.7.6. Should I install this mod since that folder is missing or am I missing something here.

Thank Duci. U the man as always...

I guess they should have made SH4 an open boat where we run around inside and shoot each other a 1000 times. They seem to handle those games with numerous patches. --Longam UBI SHIV Forums

Thanks for both of your insights. I was not sure what I had left to do.

Quagmire, I cannot place the mod you were referring to, SILENT SERVICE 1.2c GRAPHICS MOD

What does it do for graphics that maybe ROW does not do. I just cannot place this mod at all. Thanks

SILENT SERVICE 1.2c GRAPHICS MOD is a mod that changes only the opening movie scenes when you start SH4 and has no effect on ROW, RSRD, TMaru, etc. It can be applied at the beginning or at the end.

You got it Antares.

I usually put the SILENT SERVICE 1.2c GRAPHICS MOD first since it is a inital menu graphics only mod and it really doesnt ever need removing. That way when you are fiddling with other mods you dont end up removing this one all the time.
