Kriller is Danish. He had RDP help with translations and such to get the work completed. In fact, it is ahead of schedule. Kriller was thinking this Friday. So we hurry up and wait

Danish?! What the heck is he doing, sleeping at 15:20 in the afternoon! :rotfl:

Yeah, AVG is right. Actually there was not much work to do, just a couple of things to change here and there. kriller did a great job with the translation

Looks wonderful, I told kriller I was going to post some screenshots but didn't want to spoil it for anyone. So you'll have to download it to see it. :p

And boy is it worth the look.

I have to say I'm greatful for you guys looking at it. Really, that shakey water after high TC was driving me nuts. Now that it just about non-existant, it was worth all the trouble.

swdw, you're bringing back some bad memories with that. I had to
endure having the Giant's Logo on my sig. yesterday as
a result of a bet gone wrong with Mush Martin.

Default What sequence?

While we anxiously wait for the upload of this historic Mod, can someone please post a screenshot of their JGSME 'holding-pattern'? i.e: the essential Mods they intend to install in the correct order. I have just deactivatd TM 1.7.5, Natural Sinking Mechanics 3.3 and Sound Distance boost (Compulsory). Do I install the new ROW before anything else? Sorry to be such a Noob

Even though I finally made it to '43, I think I'll start a new career to mark the occasion (any excuse,lol!)

One more thing that may be worth considering. I dropped this suggestion on Dave and he really liked it. He was going to do it once he felt ROW was past the testing stage.

I recommend renaming the ROW folders with a leading ROW-##, posting them, and changing the download links to the files with numbered folders. I numbered my ROW folders and here's what the list looks like in JSGME

ROW-03-Camera vs_2b
ROW-04a-Object Reflections and Search Lights vs_5
ROW-04b-Sub Reflections and Roll Pitch Mod vs_5
ROW-05-Textures with Sun Halo camera flair vs_5
ROW-06-Special Effects with stock zones vs_5
ROW-07-Row addon by LeoVampire and Kriller2
ROW-08-Sound Effects vs_8
ROW-09-NEW Clouds from Kriller2

This causes the ROW folders to be listed as a group and in the required order of installation in JSGME. You can select the entire group as a chunk and activate them because JSGME will start with the top folder in the list and work its way down the list in order.

This also eliminates the question- what order do I install them in? When listed this way, if a fle in ROW-07 overwrites a file from a previous folder, you know it's ok.

@SWDW

That's brilliant mate thank you so much!

What other Mods do you use and do you install them after ROW?

I haven't been this excited since the days before SH4 came out. God bless you Dave and God bless this awesome community!!

What I need is were Krillers new file will fall into place on the main ROW thread. I will enter the link and whatever Kriller needs it to say. It will be a different color to to indicate this is Krillers(others involved) work and were it needs to be loaded.

I have seen peeps add a number to the order to load with in their mod folders before.

Just in case anyone was interested, here's part of the feedback post

I tried it in clear days, cloudy days, stormy days, calm seas and high winds w/ clouds. Sunrises and sunsets under many of these conditions. (know which patrols and missions to pick to get the weather I want).

Was going to post a couple of screenshots, but decided to not spoil it for the others.

<snip>
Back to the colors- they are great ,as is the water reflection. With a cloud cover that varied from orange to purple because of a sunset w/ clouds, I got some incredible color effects that were very subtle looking away from the sun, and the correct color and intensity looking towards the sun. The sunrise and sunset with winds and seafoam were impressive too. Water color and reflections with clear skys and bright sun were sooooo nice.

I also tried something. Took the camera view to standing on the deck of the boat and saw the sunrise/sunset reflection was much broader. Kinda like the beach sunset picture the one guy posted. At a higher "altitude" and angle it was not as widespread, but that's what it should do.

What I didn't tell kriller was my brother who made a couple of WesPacs is extremely impressed too.
Between Dave and Krillers work, it makes me wish I'd had a chance to sail the Pacific instead of just the Atlantic.
