Thank you very much, Herr Kaleun.... that's the whole point.

The reason for wanting it reduced is that the number in that shot is ridiculous. Maybe on a passenger ship crowded at the rails it might be possible to see that many bodies flying about but from the descriptions I've read and heard from people that were present during ship explosions, scenes like this were the exception rather than the rule.

I'm with TarJak: I've never seen any photos showing explosions with bodies flying like that. The few descriptions I remember reading mention one or two.

I've been playing the heck out of this game for the last week and I've seen this a lot. what was really funny was one time i stuck a fish in a ship but was being hounded by a destroyer at the time and couldn't use the external cam, as i was dodging the destroyer so i was checking to see if i was going to get the hit threw the scope and when the torpedo hit and the ship went up immediately a sailor rickashayed off my scope .

Be glad he didn't break your scope

Earnestly: I also think that especially with secondary explosions the flying bodies can be a really comical thing, which is exactly what it shouldn't be. It's a bit like watching Tom&Jerry or Itchy&Scratchy. Once I had a large ship blow up with numerous explosions in short succession, and each time the ship spewed out bodies like a volcano throws pumice into the air, and afterwards the water around the ship was littered with bodies. Lost count when I reached seventy. I could've walked from my boat to the remains of the ship without getting my feet wet ...

Exactly, it looks like a handfull of plastic soldiers in bath water. Far from adding realism and atmosphere it reduces it.

Me 3.

I would have to say this mod is one I have no plans of downloading or playing with. It has very little in the way of redeeming values and does nothing to enhance my enjoyment of the game. If I was reviewing this mod I'd give it three thumbs down.

Maybe. But personaly I love the new effects, fires, flaming debris etc. Definitely a huge improvement on the original. Just get rid of the bodies and it would be great.

Agree that the fireballs and debris look good. The bodies spoil it for me. A very small number would be fine but the number in this mod is superfluous.

i agree also, the mod i think is basically a good one but the bodies is just to much, the fireballs and debris looks good, but if the number of bodies couldn't be reduced id rather not have them at all and just have the fireballs and secondary explosions and fire's.... really if it was changed to just splinter fragments in them explosions it would be better. please keep this in mind I'm not criticizing anyone's hard work just change the bodies to something other than bodies and if that cant be done just take that part out all to gather.
