It may just dound like it rather than actually being someone saying it. It comes immediately after "25 degree angle on the bow plane, Sir" as a hatch is being closed.

You know all this talk about the movie "below", i figured it was some obscure 1950's movie ive never seen. So ilooked it up:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0276816/ And suddenly i remembered seeing it at the video store years ago, and dismissed it as another B movie horror flick, only with the added indignation of being on a submarine. Was it any good, or was my initial impression correct? |

If you haven't seen it, at least rent it and watch. Its worth the rental fee. PS, I had to crash dive last night, and listened real close to the sound effects, but still can't hear 'it'. That clip is from U-571. Your friend,

I think were talking about two different flicks.
The Enemy Below (1957) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050356/ And Below (2002) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0276816/ |

My thoughts on 'Below': WWII Atlantic Sub patrol turns into a spook story after mistakenly torpedoing a hospital ship. Some creepy moments. If you're looking for a WWII ONLY movie, this won't do. There might be some good sound bytes that could be included into our sound files, but I didn't notice any - too busy just watching the movie. ![]()
