profanity from a crew member
 

I'm running TM, and I swear that every time I crash dive, I hear the order "give me a 25 degree angle on the bow plane". That order is then replied to "25 degree angle on the bow plane, Sir" Then I hear what sounds like another crew member say "sh*t" during the dive process. It makes me laugh every time. :D

The "DUCE" it figures. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

acutally, i had nothign to do with it! That soundfile is from the pacific aces mod i beleive.

I haven't noticed that one myself, but I'll be listening a little more closely next time I Crash Dive.

Oh, it's there. I believe the piece is from U-571. I know that is harvey kietel's voice for the normal dive sequence, and Mathew Mcauneheh (I know, spelling) yelling emergency dive in the crash dive sequence. I like them, they work.

Duc, if your idea is a new set of profanity laced commands, I for one would love it, and download/install it in a heartbeat! :rock: :rock:

Amazingly U-571 is good for alot of soundbites for US subs - with some editing. (IE, "dive , dive" and not "dive, dive, dive")

I think some of those Pacific Aces sound bits were lifted from the movie Below as well. :hmm:

Someone needs to make a profanity mod where the crew will randomly swear about their job, the sub, or the enemy.

As far as I can remember they used clips from "U571", "Run Silent Run Deep" and "The Enemy Below". I don't think "Below" had been released yet.

You know, i can't find above mentioned profantiy in that soundfile. You guys either have some amazing ears, or im so used to hearing/speaking profanity, that i cant see the forest for the trees.
