Default I think us modder's need a Blooper Page

This is just one of the bloopers of maybe 1000 we have had over time to give you the awsome effect's we have tryed to create.

What does Yellow and Blue make Boy's and Girl's?! :rotfl:

Now you see some of the process of learning we go through to produce effect's :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ive posted these a couple times before. I was experimenting with changing a flotillas base, and had a brainfart with the departure coordinates.

Well green or not, it still looks kinda nice.

Btw, where did you get that brass looking interface? I must have missed that somehow.

Edit - I just found it. My mom was right, us men can't search very well ...

:rotfl:

Yes, debugging and beta testing is sometimes really fun A normally little known but very important work, that sometimes at least can provide a bit of fun. Keep them coming....I will see if I can find some of those from the time we were doing Pacific Aces

Default keep them comming guys I know a ton of us have bloopers

All the time and this is a great way to show people how hard it can be to give them the work we eventualy release and what we have to learn over time.

I wish I had taken a lot of screen shot's in the past with all the mistakes. But I am sure new one's to come.

My problem is, most of my bloopers don't really show up in a simple screenshot. For instance, when i first experimented with explosion radius with depth charges, i punched in some obscene number - just to see what it would do. Well, it basically turned the shock wave of a depth charge, into a new form of underwater propulsion. The speed of which, reached the triple digits

One of my more intresting bloopers occured in SH3. I was messing around with the basic.cfg, and accidently placed the ID code for a snorkel, into the location the game was expecting to see the ID code for one of the two super charges available for the type 7b.

This was a deliberate reconstruction of the result:

http://www.ducimus.net/sh3/snorkel_fun_3.jpg
http://www.ducimus.net/sh3/snorkel_fun_4.jpg

Note the telegraph setting, and the speed listed.

When i first did this, it was more entertaining because it was unexpected. The boat got moving so fat, it skipped off the water, and reached some very high altitudes, for a very long distance. Do it right, i swear you could fly over england in a uboat.
