It's often reprted that the US has great difficulties to meet it's recruitment goals, and is able to fulfill them only by having lowered the hurdles which recruits have to pass to be accepted as service-ready.
In other words: you do not get the quality of men and characters as before. Morals and command structures will reflect that decrease in quality sooner or later. If it hasn't already started.
