It was repaired on the inside !! But on the outside, you had damage galore
Probably big gapping holes in the outer hull. SH4 will lead you to believe all damage was repaired but it was NOT. Holes in the outer hull can't be repaired while at sea.... JIM

Subs have hitpoints which are only repaired in port. ALL damage is cumulative in this sense.
If you park next to somethign with 20mm and let it shoot you, you will take no internal damage (heck, no crew deaths), but you WILL sink at some point. |
