Haven't you been here long enough to hear: Stay aus das Kanal?
Tommy and his fellow Pierre will come over a knock the rust off your boat.

Meanwhile, can I have your gramophone and those nice disks you have?

I've plowed through the channel once and only once and it was by sheer luck that none of the allied ships noticed me. This was with GWX too. We made it all the way to our patrol area only to be sent to the bottom by a convoy escort that day.

Ahem, it should say "Halten Sie sich aus dem Kanal heraus"!

In my opinion, a good way to get rid of Elcos is to navigate close to a coast or do a harbour raid, those idiots typically run ashore or crash against the harbour quays. :p

They have more fuel that a large tanker! Set them alight and they leave a burning trail behind them!

They make great target practice by sharpening up your deck/AA guns skill.

Sure they run out of fuel, the question is, will they do so before you run out of air

Also going through der Kanal in 39 is doable, and if your not in the narrowest shallowest bits, and are harassed by elcos, dive! otherwise I had a great time staying surfaced and dodging half-asleep DDs while staying decks awash. great adrenaline rush

concerning Tommy and Pierre coming for you, sure, but when they do you may already have made a significant dent in their merchant marine because those are also all in der Kanal for some reason. just don't waste any battery juice going after schooners doing 9 knots.

Go below at silent running and after about 30 (game time ) minutes he'll be on his merry way

I lost patience with him, surfaced and blew his ass outta the water. Matrosengefreiter Schmidt seems to have been killed however whilst manning the flak gun. The next tramp steamers for you Johannes
