U-46
Currently on the return trip past Dover.

For some reason went offcourse and picked up a DD.

Had fun trying to get rid of it, espeically with 15metres to play with. N the fact 2 torps went straight ahead and didnt curve at all...

Realised that if 1940 Dover straights are a bit hmmm (spesh in bad weather) then I dont wanan try 1945.

Elcos on scene no sooner I blew a DD up. Two other vessels rushed in. Ah well...

"SCHNELL SCHNELL SCHNELL!" Just gotta oray my current lover doesnt wanna follow.

*Bernard drops his mug*

Herr Mohr: Could you please check post nbr. 873 of this thread and tell me once and for all if I passed my first test in surface attacks?

Sorry to hear of your demise though - best of luck for your re-incarnation!

U-253, NNW of Scapa Flow, been depth charged by a stray DD for about 12 hours now, in shallow waters. Not sure how much longer the boat can hold out. Disapointing patrol, missed two convoys and were out of range of a large merchant...forced back to Kiel due to low fuel. That is...if we ever survive this damned DC'ing.

U177 met her fate last night. On her second patrol she had devastated two convoys. Sustained serious damage so she decided to head home early. On the way a third convoy was spotted. After shootout with 4 destroyers, U177 crash dived after sinking 2 of the DD's. Took a direct hit as she went under the waves and fell into an uncontrolable dive. All hands lost as the hull crushed at 140m.

Patrol total was at 110000 tons.
