It all ended with me making a fatal mistake. The destroyers were mostly circling around for a long time while I got the flooding pumped out. Then one of them hit me right on, landed a depthcharge right on top of the conning tower, blowing everyone to death inside, killing the bulkheads, radar and periscope, also causing critical flooding the conn tower and command room.

The flooding in the conn tower were uncontrollable and it filled up really quickly. I managed to stave it off in the control room, but to no avail. We were going down. At 380 feet I tried a blow again, and I came up for some moments, but in the end it wasn't enough. I sank to 860 ft and imploded.
