Hi CapZap
I have an IXB in the late 40's. I have my patrols up to this point with all G7a because sometimes a different type, say G7e is not in my tubes. So, I was thinking of loading all G7e for the next mission. Do you usually have all acoustic eels on your sub? |

![]() What I do is to have 1 of every 4 torps accoustic for the bow torp compartment and to be used only against destroyers. As for the aft, I have half of them accoustic. That way, every time i empty the bow tubes, I will have another accoustic eel loaded for the next salvo. But in order to have this workin the way it should, I disable the auto loading and do it manually, or else you might end up with your 4 bow tubes loaded with accoustic or no acocustics at all when you need one more than ever. At first it seems complicated, but with some practice it becomes second nature. ![]() CapZap
