Interesting that the main media here in Germany did not cover the three events - at least not in a way that I took note of them (I knew of the Plymouth shooting only).

Germans better stay with U-boats, and tanks - that's where they excel.

Is the type 206 still usable?
I wish Germany would offer a cheap deal on those like with the Leopards, that deal went fast after the Germans contacted.
Finnish Navy has stated that three subs would be very useful if the money could be found.

Yes. Of Germany's 206-fleet (18 or 20 boats), one third or more has been decomissioned, the others have been modified (Type 206A). Some more may end service too, since the Navy have now gotten the 212. don'T know what the foreign customers do or did with their boats.
