patrol start in enemy ports? error

so in the past the game would switch me between german ports from time to time, but now I'm starting in Brest or Lorient when they are still under French controll.
What's up with that? Good thing they don't have any DD in there.
I exit the patrol and load the game again as I want to score some big in Dunkirk.
Darn it, did it again.
Now I'm in St. Nazaire

What month, year is it? Other then that, WOW thats messed up, never heard of that problem before, i did run into something like that before but it was the opposite. I was leaving my old port when i got a message saying it was taken by the Allies, now that sucks

I had a patrol where I refulled from a Milk cow off the american coast and when I started my next patrol I was being waved off from neutral Vichy France in the Med!!!

I sailed back out throught the squeeze, and survived, and doing it with a IXC sub as well. I took some damage (lost 5 of the six bow torpedo tubes, and down to 63% hull intergrity) but sank 6 ships despite the handicap!

Way to find out if you're in a happy Base is by the Band .. if they're playing merrily away, it's okay.
If you pan round and they're throwing their trumpets and trombones at you, order 'warp factor 10' and skidaddle :rotfl:

The game is v1.4

I'm running Gray Wolves mod and SeaWolves - Sumarines on Hunt expansion pack which I think the latter does not do anything, I think it's som Medditerean missions or something.

It's weird, I have the band playing, girls and fellow mariners waving their hands and if I get lucky they shine spotlights on my boat :hmm:

I'm trying to sail to Dunkirk and knock out all the vessels there as if the air raid comes at the right moment and damages one transport ship and I sink it I can score 50K + tons in that port. Strangely whenever I sail in from the east the game crashes, I forgot about it last time, need to come into the port from the north...

I still dig GW

It would seem you have a mix of files from GW and Seawolves which is why you are getting the odd occurances you are

Seawolves was meant to be added over a clean 1.4b patched install
As was GW

They are not compatable
