How exactly do you alter your renown? I mean... I know that you must go into the file folders some how... but HOW do you do it? What program do you use to open the file to edit your renown?

At Smith-Barney, we change our renown the old fashioned way. We *EARN* it.

The questions still stands. I'm starting in 1944 and obviously won't have time to get 20,000 points in GWX to "earn" my type XXI... thanks for nothing though!!

I know you were joking Puster... I didn't mean to offend you. I was just frustrated earlier this evening because I lost a career I had played for several days. Any help you or anyone else can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Notepad; it reads as a text file.

You can use Notepad, Word Perfect, Word, almost any text file. Just try clicking on the file first and see if it opens...then change your renown and pimp out your ride!

If need be right mouse click the cfg file and go to /open with' then choose notepad
