Default Back to the Axis side!

Tried being on the good guys team, but its just no good. SH4 has put me right off it, with its bugs and its stupid difficult damage control interface and sinking like a brick submarine when there is no reason to. So till SH4 gets sorted, as far as I am concerned it can stay in dry dock and we will leave the Submarining to the U-Boats. At least they don't take 10 minutes to dive, and they can go deeper than the American boats can.

They are also grey.

I just can't be doing with SH4, I tried dabbling I tried getting used to it, but I may as well have been trying to dig a trench with a teaspoon, U-Boats all the way. Sh4 can get stuffed.

You have returned to the darkside. The force is strong with this one. Bugs or not, I'm enjoying SH4 quite a bit

Well welcome back, but I don't think you understand some of the problems are not...US subs did submerge slower...plus the damage model has some improvments, for example you can fix some stuff temporarily (stop flooding) but can't submerge that is more realistic than what we have in SH3 currently. Also think some folks may be attacked by air at PD when at high TC...meaning planes can spot you in good weather!

Anyway, welcome back I am still in the Atlantic for now too.

I know the American subs took a while to submerge, but well, I'm used to my U-boats!

I can't get to grips with the damage control on SH4, I posted about it, and I can't see there anything seriously wrong with the sub, but its still wrecked, so, I'm done with SH4 till its all sorted. SH3 is the only subs for me.

I am also back into my lovely VII. I will return to the Pacific when the next patch is released.

Then, if I have the same number of crashes as I experience now, I will, like some mutated underwater groundhog, spot my shadow and scurry back to SHIII for six more weeks of winter in the North Atlantic.

Another turncoat here, and I haven`t explored GWX 100% yet. Crash diving those big, clumsy US boats without a working air warning radar is a nightmare. I want my cramped, smelly VIIC back

LOL bbw!

Yeah, well can I just be clear, we rejected SH4 not the other way round. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

@gdogghenrikson

Nazi Germany=Bad guys
Allied=good guys.

pretty obvious from where I sit.

Well this reject is back as well My secondment to the US Asiatic Fleet lasted all of 48 hours. In fairness to the Ubi team I didn't leave because of any bugs or gameplay problems, I left because it just felt wrong to be skippering a u-boat that isn't a u-boat. That and I dont hold the neccessary degree needed to operate the submarine management screen But mostly because GWX is better

Yea well don't want to get into a debate but that was answered, there is some level of complexity in SH4 damage that is not in SH3. Namely the concept of "temporary" repairs that allow you to get back home but not to dive...not hard to understand is it? Anyway, it is true the interface is different.
