Uh oh! As if American WW2 Submariners didn't have enough problems with rubbish torpedoes as well as having Bernard to contend with. You do know he has a sister called Brenda right?

I can see Niponese hydrophone operators hunting Bernard loudly popping bubble gum. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Maybe that's why my torps are all duds. Does she work in the munitions factory?

I'm sorry, but it's not that easy. Bernard is a self-replicating unit. He's always with you, no matter what you do to get rid of him.

I think they may have a secret factory somewhere...

Default Progress report

We have made it to BC89. Bernard was givern the job of cleaning the toilet, making the assumption that he could not do too much damage there. Unfortunately he used the nearest brush he could find, my tooth brush and so at the moment suffering from Deli belly. Later I put him in the radio room, but he sent out a order for 54 pizzas with extra pepperoni. the us navy sent out a welcoming committee, They did not bring Pizza. Considdering asking if anyone is in the area if they would like to take him the rest of the way as the crew are getting restless.

Default Dropped him off

Dropped him off just outside of Newport, about 1.5 km off the coast. Would that be a suiterble distance to drop off someone like a spy, could they paddle that far in a dinghy? The sad thing was that I had only enough fule for 15ooo km. So I skuttled the boat. What was thye prison food like?
