she is still up but sitting dead in the water, went thru the evening then night, the DDs are gone, it's early morning, i have no torpedos,,,,,,,,,,,,, what to do?

It’s Aug. 17, 1943, I’m in a IXD2, U-334, about 600km northwest of the northwest tip of Spain, I’m thinking when the sun comes out so will the planes.

deck gun her if you still have one, other than that you can do nothing. And if you saved after you torpedoed her, you're going to loose the kill if you can't hit her again

well id suggest surfacing on the right side of her (pic 2) where all of the guns are pointing upwards and cant(?) hit you
and start pounding it with the deckgun

You programers are so cruel. I surface to use my deck gun but the rolling waves were too rough for my men. As I’m sitting there on the surface my lookout yells “ship spotted, coming fast” I look up to see an ocean liner the size of the Queen Mary all alone, blacked out, crossing my bow at about 90 degree.

I feel for you mate. I once saw a task force and only had one torp left. In the end I just had to let it go.
