Experience in the past shows that one first needs organisers. Create a programm (which will not be final ever), spread the word around, and then only at the last moment people will let you know they will be coming.
Having a vote will result in many pro votes, but of those people 99% will not show up at all. But a vote could very well be used to establish what the general feeling is on having the meeting in country X, or continent Y. I have also learned that it is a must to have locals living in the area the meeting is held. it will improve the experience a thousand times ! And makes organising it so much easier. |

Yeah, that was the best meeting of all.
I think we should alternate, our first was in London, then Texas, then Netherlands... so now we should have one in the US/Canada. If we could only get someone who lives near U-505 interested in hosting....:hmm: |
