Guten Tag Herr Kaleuns!

I downloaded said weather mod - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=103202 - and forgive me if I am mistaken, but my brother and I were going to install it and use it after we finished our respective patrols. Just... where do we install it?

Also, since we use Multi SH3 with me having a copy of SH3-GWX 1.02 in my documents, and he has his in C:\Program files.... etc etc

Do we have to put it some place specific, like in the main silent hunter folders for it to work, or in the save folders or what?

It will search for your main SH3 folder, when it installs it will be there. If you have renamed your main folder, than it will ask you to direct it there. If you are using SH Commander ( if not you should ) it will be the last thing to load before SH3 runs. There you will be given the option to pick random weather or make the settings yourself. Hope this helps.

Not in "My Documents", but in the Ubisoft location

No, install in your main folder, the my documents stuff is where your career goes, etc.
Main SH3 folder is in your program files If you have not re-named it it is the Ubisoft folder.

My brother has the C:\Program files... so on and so forth... the actual original installed copy of SH3, I copied the entire ubisoft folder to My docs.

I have a duplicate in My Documents which has GWX I got it going by using MultiSH3

So we have two SH3's on the PC. One for me with GWX the stock version for him with GW which he enables when he feels like.

We also have 2 SH3 Commanders, one points to mine, the other to his. Mine works perfectly with the Weather one.

Everything seems in order.

I see, got ya. Yes then put it in there. You know you can still keep your other SH3 game in program files, but with a new name. But whatever works right

Yah! But at the time like I thought best to keep them far apart. So just slung it into My docs.

Least it all works! LOL which is an accomplishment for me and my bro.
